Travel to the railway museum in style aboard a historic diesel train! The Retro Ostravan carriage set will be pulled by the diesel locomotive Zamračená or Brejlovec.
The train departs from Prague's Masaryk Station - due to a track closure at 9:13; you can also board in Praha-Dejvice, Kladno or Stochov. The return journey starts from Lužná at 14:59.
In Lužná u Rakovníka a railway exhibition awaits you with an extensive collection of steam, diesel and electric locomotives, an exhibition of signalling equipment, model railway operation, and of course the popular rides on the narrow-gauge steam train around the museum grounds.
The train from Prague will include a stylish dining car WR from the seventies offering hot and cold refreshments; bicycles and prams can be carried in the service compartment (car No. 370).

Rožnov steam doesn't end this year even with the arrival of autumn! On Saturday 17 October, don't miss the unique opportunity to ride the special steam train from Valašské Meziříčí to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, where the traditional "All Saints' Fair" awaits you, full of regional specialities, crafts, folklore and autumn atmosphere.
At the head of the train will run the legendary steam locomotive Velký bejček 423.041 from 1924, which has been running on Czech tracks for more than a hundred years and is one of the most significant operational steam locomotives in the country. This special October ride continues the popular Rožnov Steam series and offers a unique experience for families with children, railway enthusiasts and visitors to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
Tickets including seat reservation can be conveniently obtained from home at the ČD e-shop or in person at all ČD ticket offices.
